Forest Roster

Here’s a look at the Tricky Trees main roster. Those that watch Forest, know that this team relies heavily on its defense. The Reds simply don’t have much fire-power on the offensive side of things. Forest scored a total of just 43 goals. The only teams to score fewer were Charlton, MK Dons and Bolton. All three of those teams have been relegated.

Defense and strong goalie play from Dorus De Vries is what gave Forest a fighting chance this past season. The Red and White Army only surrendered 47 goals.

Forest simply didn’t get enough out their offense to expect a whole better finish to the season. Defender Matt Mills was the team’s leading scorer with 5. While it’s nice to get goals out of your back line, you don’t expect a defender to be the one leading the team. Dexter Blackstock and Henri Lansbury were second on the team with four goals each. The only other players with more than two goals on the season, were Ben Osborn and Jamie Ward, who each contributed three goals.

If there’s one player the Reds were counting on more out of, it was Ward. Unfortunately he just couldn’t find the back of the net. He attempted a team-high 26 shots, with 24 of them on target, but only 3 got past the opposing goalie. Forest might want to consider giving Blackstock some more opportunities. His four goals came on a mere five shots.
